Well done piece. But the shape reminds me of my dogs bowl. Nice finish and very well sanded, but my mind still says " dog bowl "
Thank you Steve. The thougt "dog bowl" also went into my mind when I saw the finnished piece. (I don't have a dog, so how could i possibly predict it... :p) Seriously: I admitt the dog bowlishnes of the design, and I won't recreate it unless somone wants me to turn a bowl for their pet. Thogh I suppose the design can move away from the zoological orientation and be developed into several interesting bowls and jars with lids etc etc...
The work is a birthday gift for my sister (she neither own a dog), and I hope that when it's filled with chocolate and candy, the thught "dog bolw" will be suppressed by the need for sweets...

I like the bowl. Would not wast it on a dog. I do not think we should do the same thing as everyone else. The bowl look well done and a nice finish. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! ;)
