Tiger Maple Credenza
The center area of this stereo credenza contains a motorized panel to allow access to the stereo equipment. There are several other compartments that have multiple rack storage pullouts for cd’s, dvd’s, etc. The entire piece was constructed of maple plywood with MDF tops and fronts that were covered in Heavy Figured Tiger Maple Veneer. A cut out in the bottom of the cabinet behind one of the doors, not shown, allows the sub-woofer to acoustically resonate through the air space below the cabinet, thus allow the db reaction to be vibration free. This cabinet is attached to a large curved bar that is shown in my other post labeled “Round Motorized Bar”.

VERY nice! I’d like to know a lot more about it!
Looks like all you need now is the TV screen. Are there other speakers in the cabinet or elsewhere?
Looks like it either has a deep toe kick or is suspended on the wall.
Do the “motorized panels” drop to expose the equipment?
What kind of wood did you use: plywood, solid stock, or __? Is it Cherry, Ash, or ____?
Do you have plans for this that you are willing to shore?
Thanks for any help!
