Project Table – White Oak with Walnut trim and inlays
Completed Project table made from white oak and walnut trim. Top inlaid with walnut
This project table was my first attempt at woodworking. I’d built shelves in the garage but they were just rough and functional. My wife wanted a project table for our sun room that she could use for school projects, photo books, etc. So I decided to build one. I selected solid white oak and then trimmed it in black walnut with walnut inlay on the top. Stained with natural oak with a small amount of golden oak, then Poly finish for durability. I’m pleased with the results since it was my first woodworking project. now planning to do some teak table for the patio.
