18 ft Solid Sapele Counter Top

The solid sapele kitchen counter top is 1 3/4″ thick by 42″ wide by 18 ft long. The top was installed in three large sections around the steel posts, glued with Fasco 110 epoxy and secured with tight joint fasteners from the underside. The finish coat for the sapele top was several coats of hand rubbed mineral oil.

Really classy work, especially set off against the white kitchen. What was the final (waterproof?) finish?
