The interior of this wall unit is constructed of maple plywood veneer in bleached ash veneer. The exterior is the same veneer but with a X or diamond pattern centered on each of the two large doors and also the two side panels. At the center of the X pattern is a dyed green poplar veneered inlay. At the top center of the arch there is a keystone made with the same green dyed veneer applied to a solid poplar substrate. The recessed toe space is also green veneer. The cabinet was constructed using a knock down method to be carried up a very narrow spiral stair case in several sections. Later to be re-assembled in a master bedroom using four very large non-visible dovetail locking blocks previously incorporated within the construction process.
