Cherry / Koa Recipe Box. Commissioned wedding gift. The box is sized to hold 4×6 recipe cards; cherry with koa splines, lid band and linked rings. The piano wire dividers prevent the cards from tipping and aid in organization. This was my first attempt at using the barrel hinges. They work well, but there is no wiggle room when drilling the holes for installation. Finished with hand-rubbed poly and wax.
