Stacy’s Hall table
I built this Black Walnut Hall table for my wife. Legs are curved on the outside corners and tapered on the inside. All material milled on my band sawmill.

great looking table with the curve and taper of the legs a real plus. On the other hand---do hall tables need shelves underneath? I have never seen anything place on a shelf that low in a hall. I personally think the design would be better without the shelf.
I love it! I'm working on my own black walnut table now. What finish did you use? I personally think the shelf make the table... great job.
Love your work - I am about to embark on building an altar for a retiring bishop with Aussie 'extremely hard wood' - your overall design has given me inspiration.
The finish is Minwax Red Mahogany stain with Conversion varnish top coats
