Small End Table: Exercise in Veneer and Inlay

The nauticle star and inlay in this walnut table came from salvaged keys of an 1890’s theater organ. The pattern in the top walnut veneer was chosen to radiate from the star, and give an artistic interpretation of space-time distortion near massive objects.

Very nice. A great use for salvaged material. The walnut has a beautiful grain pattern. Very well done.
