My daughter, wanting a unique clothing storage cabinet, asked for and I responded designing and making this Armoire. The Armoire was fabricated uing 4/4 quartersawn white oak structure with 1/4″ oak plywood siding. The carcass wqs fabricated using “stile and panel” construcion. The interior included two adjustable shelves behind the inclined doors. And below there are three drawers made from 1/2″ plywood mounted on sliders with quartersawn oak facings. The cabinet top, bottom, and drawer cavities were also fabricated with “stile and panel” construction (i.e. inserting divider panels into stile groove slots) with 3/4″ plywood panels providing structutal strength to the unit. Hardware: brass hinges and door knobs, sliders
