Apothecary of reclaimed wood
An apothecary made for storing pen blanks. The carcass and drawer fronts were made of reclaimed northern white pine from interior trim of a 1920s house. The drawers sides, back and bottoms are all made from western red cedar that was reclaimed from the ceiling boards of an old school. Carcass joined with box joints. Everything is hand planed and finished with early american water stain and 3 coats of polyurethane.
