Celtic Knot French style rolling pin
Celtic Knot, French style rolling pin of oak and walnut. I finally had to take a shot at doing one of these fascinating designs. The pin is 18 inches long and approx. 1.7 inches in diameter, finished with BLO.

The design begins with a 2/2 piece of stock about 18 inches long. By cutting parallel diagonals the go nearly all the way through and inserting and glueing the contrasting stirps, the design is created, The proceedure myst be repeated on all four sides.
