My father-in-law had made a table similar to this for my wife when she was younger, and had been using that table in his television room for remotes and such. One day my wife decided she wanted that table back and i felt bad because he replaced it with some old looking beat up thing. So for this past christmas i made this table to replace the one that was in his TV room.

Its made of maple and has bloodwood accents. I had seen a lot of the square inserts in the past and they have always been square with the legs. I, of corse, wanted to be a little different made them diamonds instead and really like the look. This was my first attempt at a table like this.

its finished with wipe on poly and wax. overall dimensions 13″W x 19″L x 20″H
