18th-Century-style Side Table
Woodworker: Curtis Erpelding
Erpelding based the design of this table on various 18th-century elements. The diamond patterns are an updated version of Chippendale fretwork, while the small scale of the table is typical of ladies’ writing desks of that period. Erpelding used a router to make the pattern repeats in half the time of traditional methods. The piece is made of cherry and ebony.
