Art Deco-style Cabinet
Woodworker: Mark Bellonby
“This piece has a strong architectural character with an Art Deco flavor,” Bellonby says. The cabinet is constructed out of solid and veneered Honduras mahogany with a solid Gabon ebony top cornice and ebonized Honduras mahogany moldings and cock beads. The MDF-substrate doors feature veneered marquetry of Macassar ebony, pommele sapele, redwood burl, and figured pear and maple. The cabinet has a varnish finish.
