Vaughan’s Arts and Crafts style chest is made using flared mortises and jig-cut wedges that create matching tight-fitting through tenons. The through-tenons are visible at the sides of the bureau, creating a contrast between the black walnut and pear woods. The piece is finished with Danish oil.
