Woodworker: Garrett Hack
Hack crafted this basic side chair from white ash because of the wood’s strength and grain pattern. The curves on the back of the chair come from specifically sawn 8/4 stock rather than steam bending. The chair also features mortise-and-tenon joinery, giving the finished product form, strength, and comfort. The chair is finished with an upholstered seat.
