Asian Inspired Side Table

When designing this side table for a client’s lounge, Holt tied together a number of elements. The newly updated room contained antiques, reflected in the slipper feet, and Asian accents, seen in the ebonizing and open framework. Holt used water-based aniline dyes for the ebonizing and to deepen the color on the rest of the Honduras mahogany. She finished the table with shellac and wax.
