Bent Lamination Chair

Koehnen built this European ash chair (28 in. wide by 17 in. deep by 40 in. tall) as part of a commission for a dining table and 12 chairs. The challenge was to design a handsome, comfortable chair at a reasonable price. All of the curved parts are steam-bent, and the finish is Osmo Polyx-Oil.
