Blanket Chest

Woodworker: David Crofcheck
Crofcheck built this blanket chest as a larger version of a small box he had already built. The chest is made from tornillo and snakewood, and features a gently contoured top and off-90° sides. The compound curves were created by a jig designed by Crofcheck. The piece is finished with polyurethane.
