Bombe-style Chest of Drawers

Woodworker: Randall O’Donnell
O’Donnell, a period furniture maker, made this bombe chest of drawers for an antiques collector. O’Donnell hand-carved the sides and the drawer fronts from slabs of mahogany. The bead around the drawer pockets was formed by relieving the case edges.
