Box with Paper-Thickness Joints
Woodworker: Kintaro Yazawa
This box features one of Kintaro Yazawa’s inventive joints: a micro-variation of the finger joint, which he calls the “paper-thickness joint.” Even more impressive is that the paper-thin fingers measure about a millimeter thick and are cut into a diamond pattern. Also, the entire joint is mitered on the inside.
