Breakfast Table
Woodworker: John Ross
In his design Ross used a variation of elements from two of Thomas Elfe’s Charleston breakfast tables. While the stretcher design is reminiscent of the Heyward-Washington House table, the carved apron was inspired by the table at Middleton Place. Two pull-out leaf supports on each side lighten the appearance when the leaves are up. The table is made from mahogany.
