Bridge Table
Woodworker: Wayne Marcoux
New Hampshire furniture maker Wayne Marcoux’s inspiration for this sofa table was the arched base of a bridge. The legs are tapered bent laminations that join with a lap joint. The strong stance of the legs contrasts with the thin, floating top and shelf. On the shelf, the undercut edge, the downward sweeping ends of the stretchers, and the space between the shelf and the legs combine to make the panel appear to levitate.

Splendid furniture architecture and design. The work seems flawless as well. Some people are just too talented(emphasis on design here, in particular)! I don't know, I'm speechless, I was browsing and this piece grabbed my attention from first sight. Well done to Mr. Marcoux!
