Woodworker: Edward Brown
The desk is made from a plank of bubinga that Brown bandsawed into veneer for the top. The center drawer is narrow and bows inward. Brown carved the drawer pulls and used birch for the drawer sides and solid bird’s-eye panels for the drawer bottoms. The desk is finished with an oil-and-varnish mixture.
