Woodworker: Asa Christiana
To be fair, Fine Woodworking editor Asa Christiana said he had a lot of help on this project, which was built to correspond with an article in the magazine. Mike Pekovich (FWW art director) helped to design it; but Christiana built everything (cases, face frames, desk, doors, moldings); and then the author of the article, Tony O’Malley, did the installation. The face and door frames are solid cherry and the cases are from cherry plywood. It is finished with Waterlox.
