Butternut Low Table

Woodworker: Fred Hathaway
Fred Hathaway salvaged the butternut used for this low table from a dying tree. After hearing of his neighbor’s plans to use a felled tree for firewood, Hathaway quickly purchased it and had the tree sawed and kiln-dried. This table is the first piece he crafted from the lumber. The finish is boiled linseed oil.
