Woodworker: Brian Nelson
Like most woodworkers, Nelson has built his share of boxes. “This is an attempt to have some fun, and do it a little differently for a change,” he wrote. He built the deconstructed piece with maple. The finish is an oil/varnish mixture.

This is a great piece. Each element of the basic forms is distinct, yet they are combined to form a coherent whole. It is both intellectually and emotionally challenging and appealing. Well done!
