Woodworker: Bob VergetteVergette made this canarywood smoothing plane (9 in. long) specifically to handplane the concave curves of a bed he was commissioned to build. He likes the idea of making the tools to complete projects because “it harkens back to a previous era when furniture makers commonly made specialized tools as a part of their work.”
