This mahogany card table features multiple carvings and a wooden hinge at the back to allow the top to flip up to expose the felt-lined playing surface. The finish is a combination of walnut-husk dye, several coats of seedlac shellac, asphaltum thinned with mineral spirits to darken and accent the carving, and wax.
