Chippendale Side Table

Woodworker: Freddy Roman Roman built this side table based on a Chippendale design. It features a number of hand-carved elements, including a taurus molding around three sides of the table top, a berry-and-sausage molding that wraps around the table’s frame, and sea scroll brackets that tie the legs to the aprons. The table also features a tapered Marlborough leg, decorated with stringing produced with a scratch stock. It has a single dovetailed drawer with Rococo-style handles.
