Chippendale-style Chest of Drawers
Woodworker: Ronald Patton
This Newport-style Chippendale chest is one of a pair. The case is made of Honduras mahogany, while the drawer fronts are constructed of Cuban mahogany. The finish is a mahogany stain and dewaxed garnet shellac; the top received 18 coats of hand-rubbed shellac.
