Chippendale-style Highboy
Woodworker: Rudi Libenschek
This Chippendale-style highboy is made of mahogany with secondary wood of poplar. It is based on measured drawings in Franklin H. Gottshall’s Making Furniture Masterpieces (Dover Publications, 1996). The piece took approximately 280 hours to complete and has a rubbed-out varnish finish.
