Chippendale-style Side Table

Based on a piece in the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts, this cherry side table was made for use in Headley’s home. The table features hand-cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joinery. The table rests on ball-and-claw feet. The finish is shellac.
