Colonial-style Cupboard
Woodworker: Michael Dunbar
Dunbar’s 18th-century Colonial-style cupboard has a dovetailed box as its foundation. The piece is made from pine and features an ogee cornice and frame-and-panel doors, both typical of the period. The cabinet on the left is finished with Lexington Green milk paint with a linseed-oil overcoat. The one on the right is finished with four washcoats of concentrated tea, followed by a tinted shellac.
