Corner Cabinet
Woodworker: Curtis Erpelding
Multiple design elements were borrowed and updated to craft this corner cabinet. The glazing bars are reminiscent of Chinese furniture, and the break at the waist of the cabinet is a feature often found in the work of James Krenov. The large cove in the crown molding dates back to Egyptian temple design. Erpelding’s piece is made from cherry, bleached anigre, and ebonized veneer.
