Cradle
Woodworker: Ed Willer
Willer started making this cradle for his first grandchild, but didn’t complete it until the second one was born. Based on an 18th-century Maryland cradle Willer saw at a museum in Raleigh, North Carolina, it is made of walnut. The sides are joined by double-beveled hand-cut dovetails. The finish is a water-based aniline dye, Danish oil, and wax.
