Woodworker: Curtis Erpelding
The main geometry for this desk was inspired by a Regency-style commode. Erpelding used maple, ebony and ebonized inlay to craft the desk. The stringing pattern, though updated, is typical for 18th-century Regency furniture. To give the desk additional strength, all the vertical panels are splined into the top and full bottom.
