Cribbage Board
Woodworker: Salvatore Pontecorvo
For this cribbage board, Pontecorvo inlaid a separate piece of veneer for each group of holes. A photocopy of the pattern was glued to the board as a guide for mortising and aligning the “S” pattern. An identical photocopy was cut up, glued to small pieces of veneer, and used for trimming the inlays. The paper patterns were then sanded off, revealing the finished board.
