Woodworker: Tony Kenway
Kenway’s affection for the sea is reflected in this hall table, which was inspired by the shape of a marine animal called cunjevoi. When he designs such sculptural pieces, Kenway always proceeds from a sketch to a 1:5 model. He finds a model much more effective than a sketch for working out the shapes and proportions of the three-dimensional form.
