Curved-Back Adirondack Chair
Woodworker: Tom Begnal Fine Woodworking associate editor Tom Begnal led the effort to come up with this classic Adirondack chair design. It is based on many of the features and patterns found on those built in the early 1900s in the Adirondack mountain region of New York, including its large flat arms and slanted seat and back. However, this one also features a curved seat and back for additional comfort. It is made exclusively of western red cedar and assembled with stainless steel screws and bolts. No finish was applied, which means it will weather to a silvery grey with time.
