Woodworker: Les Cizek
Cizek made this, his first stand, as a student at the College of the Redwoods in northern California. The top has a gentle curve of figured cherry veneer, with storage under the hinged lid and in two drawers. A sliding writing surface pulls out; it is made of veneered blocks of end-grain royal palm veneer.
