Woodworker: Michael Hurwitz
For a commissioned work, Hurwitz came up with this slat-top table reminiscent in design of a woven tablecloth. The table is constructed of strips of elm and walnut veneer, with the main structure in elm. The piece is finished with lacquer to withstand heavy use.
