Woodworker: Jerry Cox
Cox designed this bedroom entertainment unit for a client who had lived in Japan for five years. Vincent built the piece out of solid birch with redwood burl veneer on the drawer fronts and lower shelf; he used dyed bamboo for the door inserts and side panels. The unit has an eight-step lacquer finish, which was applied by Larry Levleit.
