Woodworker: Anatole Burkin
This entertainment center, built almost two decades ago, was Anatole Burkin’s first big furniture project. He still likes the design, especially the pulls, but if he had to do it over again, he would have stuck to one wood species. The panels are quartersawn white oak, and the rest of the piece is red oak. The finish is nitrocellulose lacquer.
