Federal-style Card Table
Woodworker: Walter Raynes
This card table is a combination of two Federal styles: New York and Baltimore. It is more of a display table than a card table. The top features pie-shaped wedges of crotch mahogany, and a central field of oak and acorn inlays. Raynes and Clinton used walnut, holly, rosewood, curly maple, and ebony for the inlay. The table has a French polish finish.
