Floating Cherry Credenza

Woodworker: Matt ThibodeauThibodeau wanted this large curly cherry credenza (24 in. deep by 56 in. wide by 30 in. tall) to appear light, so he floated the case in the framework. Since the piece was destined for a friend’s home office, Thibodeau used Blum Tandem drawer runners with Tip-On mechanical openers instead of pulls, so a soft push opens the drawer. The finished is hand-rubbed oil. from Fine Woodworking #221
