Greene and Greene-Style Buffet

Thomas Starbuck Stockton crafted this Greene-and-Greene-inspired buffet from a large slab of claro walnut that a friend gave him. The buffet’s exterior came from the walnut, which his friend milled and cured, while the buffet’s top and panels are from sawn veneers. The ebony handles feature a mother-of-pearl inlay after the original concept of wrapping them with sterling-silver wire was tested out and discarded.
