Woodworker: David Ernst
Ernst made this table while he was a student of architecture at the University of Michigan. He was inspired by the bridge designs of Robert Maillart. The table is made from walnut and ash and features arched rails on the two long sides made from four 1/8-in.-thick pieces of walnut 1 in. wide that are laminated together. The table is finished with oil.
