Woodworker: John Grew Sheridan
Built for the 2001 Open Studio Weekend in San Francisco, this hall entry table is made of rosewood and cast iron. The top is lacquer, rottenstone-polished to a mirror finish, and the base is a cast-iron grinder pedestal from the 1940s, painted gloss black.
