Hepplewhite-style Card Tables
Woodworker: Dan Mosheim
These two Hepplewhite five-legged card tables were designed after a piece on display at the Clark Art Museum in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and from Benjamin Hewitt’s The Work of Many Hands: Card Tables in Federal America, 1790-1820 (out of print). Each of the tables is constructed of crotch mahogany, satinwood, quartersawn pine, and ebony, and both are finished with shellac and oil.
